Kyle Butt
Kyle graduated from Freed-Hardeman University with B.A. in Bible and communications. He also earned his M.A. in New Testament from Freed-Hardeman. He currently works at Apologetics Press in Montgomery, Alabama.
Sheila Keckler Butt
Sheila Keckler Butt was born in Rockford, Illinois. She is a Graduate of East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN, with a B.S. Degree in English and History.
Sheila is also a Graduate of the Bear Valley School of Biblical Studies, Women’s Program, 1980 and has done Graduate work in Greek and Hermeneutics at David Lipscomb University, 1994.
She has taught Bible classes for the past 30 years for young children and women of all ages. She has spoken on the Caribbean Lectureship for five years and has taught young ladies at the Horizons Program at Freed- Hardeman University for the past twelve years. Sheila has traveled abroad teaching ladies in Panama, Honduras, Cuba, Alaska and the Caribbean. She speaks for numerous Ladies’ Days, Lectureships and Seminars and was privileged to teach in the summer of 2003 at the First Annual Christian Women’s Conference in Cuba.
Sheila has written two books and co-authored a third. Her first book “No Greater Joy” has been very well received and is often used in Ladies Bible Classes and as gifts for expectant parents. The book is about raising children who will love the Lord. The last chapter of the book is dedicated to the husband/wife relationship in Christ.
Her newest book, “Seeking Spiritual Beauty”, was introduced in February, 2002. This book is an encouragement and source of strength for women who are not satisfied with the world’s standard of spirituality and who are truly seeking to please the Master.
She and her husband conduct two Seminars entitled “Raising Children to the Glory of God,” and “God’s Design for Marriage” several times a year. Sheila also teaches an all girls’ youth rally entitled “In His Image” which has been very well received and attended.
Sheila and her husband Stan have three sons who are married and who are currently Gospel preachers. They have five grandchildren.
Stan Butt
Stan graduated from David Lipscomb University with a B.A. in history. He completed his M.Min. degree at Freed-Hardeman University. Stan currently preaches at the Chapel Hill church of Christ in Chapel Hill, Tennessee.
